+Hymn: Sweet Hour of Prayer UMH496
1. Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father's throne make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief, my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter's snare by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
2. Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! the joys I feel, the bliss I share of those whose anxious spirits burn with strong desires for thy return! With such I hasten to the place where God my Savior shows his face, and gladly take my station there, and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
3. Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! thy wings shall my petition bear to him whose truth and faithfulness engage the waiting soul to bless. And since he bids me seek his face, believe his word, and trust his grace, I'll cast on him my every care, and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

All: Mighty God, Architect of the Universe; your work of creation and building is always before us! We give our gifts this day in hopes that we might be co-builders with you in the creation of your kingdom here on earth! May our gifts also reach others who are hurting, who feel disconnected from your love, that they too may join us in the stonework of kingdom-building, whose mortar is the sharing of Christ’s love with the world. In this last quarter of the year, we will work towards experiencing and sharing joy. We share joy by simply smiling to our neighbors. And as we send you out this day: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. God loves you and so do I

Pastor Appreciation Sunday will be celebrated on Nov. 21st in Worship.
During worship we will honor our Clergy People Matt Franks and Shana Dry.
Some ideas of appreciation for our pastors are things like notes, cards, letters or gift cards. Some gift card ideas are things like Amazon, Walmart, Charlie's Chicken, Braums or El Molcajete's Mexican Restaurant.
If you are not able to attend that Sunday. You can also mail each pastor's appreciation gift to the church office located at the following address: Tahlequah United Methodist Church, 300 West Delaware Street, Tahlequah, OK 74464. Another option would be to drop them off at the church office by placing them in the mail slot outside the church office door. Or leave it in the baskets that will be left out on Sunday the 14th and 21st.
If you have questions, please contact Carla at cjrlivesay3@gmail.com
