Free Lunch July 7th After Worship
The Mission Group invites you to be a guest at a free lunch on Sunday, July 7, beginning after the Worship Service. This is not a potluck; we will take no “love offering”. We just want you to join us in the atrium for a Get-together during which we will ask you to consider Tahlequah’s mission program. All are welcome!
This will be a chance to think about what kinds of mission activities the church should undertake in the future (i.e., where and when, how to pay, how to plan for future years, etc.).
The gathering will end by 1:00pm.
Please join us for a light meal and a time of fellowship. You will not be committing yourself in any way – we want to learn from your ideas, thoughts, suggestions, and experiences. Again, all are welcome!

Family Life Upcoming Events
Upcoming Picnic July 21st 5 p.m.: Save the date of July 21st. We will be having an all-church picnic that everyone is invited to. At 5 pm at Cherokee Landing on Tenkiller Lake. The church van will be going out and can give you a ride if you would like. It will be a pot-luck. More details will be coming as time gets closer. Save the date! It will be a GREAT Time had by all.

Mission U
Mission u begins on July 19 at Oklahoma City University and here is the form to register online: https://okumc-reg.brtapp.com/Missionu2019
Weekend school is Friday evening to Sunday lunch and the one-day school begins on Monday. The studies and meals are excellent, and you will be glad you attended. If you have a grandchild in the elementary school age range, they can attend with you if you would like to take them. There are also classes for youth.
The three studies are on Mark, the history of United Methodist Women, and Money Matters. If you would like to go, we have scholarships available in our local unit. Jane Bond is going to the weekend school if you would like a ride on Friday, July 19 and Jane will be returning on Sunday the 21st. Mission u is always a mind-enriching experience.
