                     Two parents of preschoolers appointed by the elected members of the committee.
  1. Members of the Board will be elected by the Charge Conference upon nomination by the Lay Leadership Committee.
  2. At least one Board member shall be a parent of a child in the three year old class and at least one Board member shall be a parent of a child in the four year old class.  The Lay Leadership Committee shall receive recommendations from the Preschool Director before nominating these persons.
  3. No more than one third of the Board shall consist of persons who are not members of First United Methodist Church.
  4. Terms of Board members shall begin on June 1.  Vacancies which occur before the end of a Board member's term in office will be filled by the Church Council upon nomination be the Lay Leadership Committee.
  5. Chair of the Weekday Children's Ministry Board to be a member of Tahlequah First United Methodist Church.
  6. Weekday Children's Ministry Board reports to the Church Council at least annually.
