Nancy Adler comes to Tahlequah from
Laverne, Oklahoma where she served as pastor of the Laverne-Rosston
churches in the Woodward District. Nancy has received the
Master's of Divinity Degree with honors from Phillips
Theological Seminary and a Master's of Religious Education from
Oklahoma City University. She was ordained an Elder in the
United Methodist Church in 1996.
Nancy's two main areas of responsibility with the
church will be:
(a) Pastoral Care and
(b) Family and Children's ministries.
Both of these are areas where she has special skills and interest.
Nancy has a
reputation as being a "Community Chaplain" as she enjoys community
ministries and organizing grief and support groups.
